Overview

Engineering Design Services LLC is an engineering consulting firm headquartered in Corpus Christi, Texas, with remote offices in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Starkville, Mississippi, and Orlando, Florida. We are looking for a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator to join our Orlando office and support our continued growth. EDS-Florida delivers mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering solutions, primarily serving the themed entertainment, cruise, and commercial aerospace industries.

As a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator, you will help communicate our capabilities, support new business opportunities, and strengthen client relationships. Working with leadership and engineering teams, you will coordinate proposals, develop marketing materials, maintain business development records, and support outreach to prospective clients and industry partners.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong writing and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. You should be comfortable turning technical information into clear, engaging content and coordinating input from busy project teams. This role combines creative marketing

Responsibilities

Coordinate proposals and RFQ/RFP responses, including schedules, team input, formatting, proofreading, and submission requirements.
Create and maintain project profiles, staff resumes, capability statements, presentations, and marketing collateral.
Draft website, social media, and email content with input and approval from leadership and technical teams.
Research target clients, market sectors, and upcoming opportunities to support business development priorities.
Maintain CRM records, contact lists, opportunity status, and follow-up actions; prepare activity and pipeline summaries.
Coordinate client meetings, networking events, conferences, and trade shows, including materials, logistics, and follow-up.
Work with project teams to gather approved project descriptions, images, and results for marketing use.
Track marketing activity and engagement, and recommend practical improvements to content and outreach.

Experience & Qualifications

2+ years of experience in marketing, business development support, proposal coordination, or a related field preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
Experience in engineering, architecture, construction, or professional services preferred.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to accuracy and brand consistency.
Experience preparing proposals, presentations, qualifications packages, or other client-facing materials.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Familiarity with CRM systems, contact databases, and opportunity tracking.
Experience supporting website updates, LinkedIn content, email campaigns, or industry events.
Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills; ability to handle confidential business information.
